Gainsborough's House Printmakers are coming 'Out of the The Frame'
This well-established group of East Anglian artists will be showing prints as you have never seen them displayed before.
I will be showing prints on paper and fabric as well as the current Mr.PS collection of tea towels, aprons and bags.
The exhibition will be taking place at St.Mary-at-the-Quay church, Key Street, Ipswich.
Open from Monday 2 July until Saturday 7 July, 10am-4pm.
Rather unconventionally the Private View is on the last day of the show; Wrap party on Saturday 7th from 4pm-7pm.
Location: The exhibition-space-church is on Key Street by the water front in Ipswich (where all the development is happening). There are three churches on the water front and it is the middle of the three and has a weather vain with a key on the tower.
I think you can walk there from the railway station.
Follow signs to Historic Waterfront parking (an Anchor and a P) and you will find yourself at an NCP multistorey. From there it's a short walk straight down to Key St.
Further along Key st is the quayside with bars, cafes etc.
This event is running as part of the Ip-Art festival.
Please come along if you can!
