Summer Sunday

Gorgeous weather here today... so I started the day with a delicious fruit salad.

Then later on I got the baking urge...

Then, after an afternoon of designing *new products* (eek coming soon) I had a lovely piece of lemon cake treat.

All washed down with Old Jamaica ginger beer. Deelish.

Stockists' corner

A quick round-up and hello to some of our new stockists around the country, and beyond!

Big Blue Sky - not strictly a new stockist, but they've recently re-stocked with of some of our new designs, and they also sent me a card, and the seaside theme continues!

On the web, Bonbi Forest is also showcasing a fresh selection of tea towels.

And, Mr.PS is heading East! A box of tea towels and bags are on their way over to La Bonbonniere, a lovely looking shop in Japan.

These tea towels were commissioned by Bodlon "Unique Welsh Gifts for Foodies," and will be launching at this week's Urdd National Eisteddfod in Cardiff Bay. 

Islington Mill: Open day

On Friday, we are having an open day at t'mill

Behind each of these windows is an artist's studio, creative company, gallery space, club space, recording studio, and even I don't know what else.... Come down and have a nosy!

Open from 11am - 5pm, rounding up with a BBQ in the yard. (Fingers crossed for a sunny Salford evening)

I'll be holding a Mr.PS table-top shop, selling bags, tea towels, aprons, prints, mugs, brooches....

My studio is the one above the black wooden door. It'll be worth climbing the stairs to the 4th floor!

Model's Own Home

One thing I love about selling and generally 'being' online, is the communication with Mr.PS' customers. 

The other good thing is seeing and sharing photos!

A couple of weeks ago, the lovely Teena Valerine from over at Kitschen Pink asked me to custom-print a Big Breakfast screenprint on paper in pink for her.

And this week, as well as seeing all the other delights in her home, by the power of the internet I got to see the print in situ on her kitschen wall!

She's cropped it right down into a clip fame, and it fits snugly in this cute corner. Perfect! Even if I do say so myself.

Over in North London, Jen has sent me some snaps of her bijou kitchen, which features the Mr.PS Big Breakfast print in classic blue, along with an adorable collection of cornishware and vintage china.

Hurrah!

And just for fun - here is my Big Breakfast print hanging on the wall in my studio, next to my print cupboard.

I get a few requests for different colourways and personalised designs, and I always try and oblige.

Lupin lovelies

Some more handmade birthday goodies have come my way!

Lupin has sent me a cute teacup brooch...

and a lavender 'tea' bag: it is stuffed with scented lavender, perfect for popping in with my woolies to keep the moths at bay.

Both were wrapped in tea cup and saucer printed tissue. Great idea.

HR goodies

The lovely lampshade design queen Helen Rawlinson has sent me a couple of her new products...

Iron-on fabric patches,

and a Zip-up fabric purse, with Helen's screen-printed fabric on one side and a great combo of mini and jumbo blue and red ginghams on the back and inside.
