Better get sewing..

A new addition to the studio today... well new to me anyway. I now have a beast to contend with!

I've gone all industrial!

Model 101 had been lying dormant in my friend Anne's studio. But a nice man came and did a bit of tinkering, and after a brew and a bit of lugging up 4 flights of stairs, it is now happily in place in the Mr.PS studio ready for action!

Got a bit of a big order on at the moment, so it's just as well. More on that later.

Coming up...

This Saturday (3 Oct) I'm setting up shop at the Designer's Marketplace in Leeds. It's at The Loft from 11am til 4.30pm. Come on down, looks like it's gonna be a good 'un.

Also this weekend, opening this Saturday in Glasgow is new boutique gallery shop Welcome Home. Go check it out, they're carrying a selected range of Mr.PS tea towels and totes, as well as lots of other goodness!

Coming Up: BUST Craftacular

Only a few days of printing, pressing and packing for this Saturday's BUST Craftacular!

Mr.PS will be one of 50 vendors selling their handmade wares. 

An all day shopping and music event from 12-8pm, with DJ's, and a bar, as well as, no doubt, plenty of cupcakes to snack on.

This Saturday 22 August, York Hall, Old Ford Road, London E2 9PJ (Bethnal Green tube) £2 entrance.

Get down there early and you may be one of the lucky 100 to receive a free goodie bag... 

...containing amongst other excitment a free Mr.PS coastal jigsaw brooch. Oooh!

French fancies

I popped over to Paris at the weekend... part of my mission was to deliver stock to a new Mr.PS stockist: POP Market.

I was greeted at Gare du Nord for the exchange of goodies, and I was presented with treats!

Mmmmmmmm, delicieux!

The lovely Marion also gave me some of her handmade products...

A mirror, badge and magnet. Love the packaging for these too.

So, if you're ever in Paris, head over to POP Market, near the Canal St.Martin to pick yourself up some cool stuff!

Summer Disco

Coming up.... I've been accepted as a vendor for the BUST Summer Craftacular!

Held on Saturday 22 August in York Hall, Bethnal Green, East London. 12-8pm. 

There'll be music, food drink as well as plenty of opportunities for stocking up on handmade goodies from the likes of the Experimental Letterpress Workshop, Laura Fallulah and Tatty Devine, as well as Mr.PS of course!

As well as trying to soak up the summer sun whenever it tries to shine (which has been pretty rare these last couple of weeks) I've been printing, printing, printing, lots of lovely tea towels for...

Mr.PS tea towels and mugs are now featured in the design boutique section of new website my deco.

my deco has been set up by the creators of lastminute.com, and has everything you need to plan, design and shop for your home.

The design boutique is a specific area for products made by independent UK designers.

Summer Sunday

Gorgeous weather here today... so I started the day with a delicious fruit salad.

Then later on I got the baking urge...

Then, after an afternoon of designing *new products* (eek coming soon) I had a lovely piece of lemon cake treat.

All washed down with Old Jamaica ginger beer. Deelish.

Big Blue Sky - not strictly a new stockist, but they've recently re-stocked with of some of our new designs, and they also sent me a card, and the seaside theme continues!

On the web, Bonbi Forest is also showcasing a fresh selection of tea towels.

And, Mr.PS is heading East! A box of tea towels and bags are on their way over to La Bonbonniere, a lovely looking shop in Japan.
