Stockist round up

It's been a while since I did a stockist round up, so here's a little selection of new places you can find Mr.PS

I'm really pleased to have Mr.PS goodies stocked at Ink & Thread in Derby. The shop prides itself on selling "British made useful and beautiful things" are you can't do better than that, can you!

Having only opened in the lead up to Christmas last year, they've now got a fab new website up and running, check it out here.

 

 

 

Another pretty new shop selling some Mr.PS bags and tea towels is Riley, in Ellesmere, Shopshire.

They've only recently opened, hope I can get down there one day and see all their lovely things!

I'd also like to visit Renfrewshire to check out Three Sisters Bake, as well as a yummy cafe and events catering, they've got a crafts boutique, with a few Cake Time tea towels to complement their delicious bakery.

Further afield, there's a selection of Mr.PS tea towels available at Relish Decor  in Frederick, MD, USA and also Strangelets, Singapore.

Imperial War Museum

I've done a special mini-range of Mr.PS product for the shop at the Imperial War Museum, London.

The Fancy a Brew unbleached (cream) cotton tea towels are screenprinted by hand, in custom 1940's kitchenalia colours - "brown betty teapot" brown and "enamel bread bin" green.

The cotton canvas shopper bag has the classic Full English Breakfast print on one side, and the other, the brown betty teapot.

Available now as part of their WW2 Home Front special exhibition shop. I love a good museum shop - this has been sourced and styled to perfection. There's even pickled onions!

If you can't get down to Lambeth, everything's available online.

Market days

Phew, done a few markets over the last couple of weeks, was great to meet you if you came down.

Here's a snap of the Mr.PS stall at Selina Lake's Homespun Style book launch and market last week.

A super day, and great company, and I also managed to put some faces to names, meeting lovely people who I'd only previously known through the powers of the internet.

Here's some new badges I'd made for the event, and now these are available over in the shop.

Tower towel

Here's a new Mr.PS tea towel for the manchester modernist society

It features part of Cannon Hussey Court, a residential block in Central Salford, screenprinted in mustard.

This is the second in the series of Towerblock tea towels, following on from the popular Salford Shopping City design.

Available exclusively from the modernists, they are launching it today at the Manchester History Festival at the Town Hall.

If you can't make it down there, their modernist pop-up shop will be re-launching soon.

You're The Best

It's new tea towel time! This new Mr.PS design features my drawing of a medal, and the words "You're the best". Great for giving to your mum, dad, mate...

Available over in the shop right now, screenprinted in raspberry pink, and sunshine yellow.

I think it looks pretty nifty with the Hooray Ice Cream and Super Smashing tea towels too.

Shelf Sunday Eight

Three vinegar bottles

Our Sunday walk this afternoon took us round past the treasure trove that is "Yassers," a small Jewish-run shop which is stuffed to the edges with cookware, handy kitchen implements, crockery and all manner of things you never knew you might need. 

Outside on the street there's always a table of clearance bargains. Most of our plant pot saucers come from here, 10p Poole plates and other pretty pieces of ware which have been separated from the rest of the dinner set.

Today's offering was a basket full of vinegar bottles. So of course we had to get one of each colour, the set.

Pretty nice, huh?

Christmas Treacle

For my final festive craft fair fling this season, I'll be setting up the Mr.PS stall at the Christmas Treacle market in Macclesfield.

"The Festive Treacle Market promises even more abundant stalls of unique gifts, stylish home wares and exceptional local food and provisions for the Christmas table. Roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, brass bands, carols, Father Christmas with a bulging sack for little ones and rides on an Edwardian carousel!"

I am proper looking forward to this one! We'll be stocking up on local-grown veg and chipolatas etc for our christmas feast as well as checking out the hand-made chocs and booze for last minute pressies. And there's live acoustic music all day to get in to the festive spirit.

On the Mr.PS stall we'll try and have loads of Happy Hankies as well as handy tea towels and Robert Shadbolt Man Utd prints and cards for those last minute gifts.

Cake-a-Rama

For those who couldn't make it to Cake-a-Rama on Saturday, here's one of the delights you missed out on...

Laura and I ran the Cake-a-Rama tea hatch at the Salford Zine Fair Printomania event on Saturday. Thanks to everyone who came along and sampled our homemade cakes and 50p tea. All served on vintage mis-matched church hall china, bien sur.

 

London Craftacular Christmas '11

The Christmas craft fair season is nearly upon us, and I'm lined up to do a few around the country over the next few weeks.

First up - London.

Once again I'll be setting up the Mr.PS stall at the BUST Craftacular in Bethnal Green's York Hall.

The event this year is on Sunday 27th November, and promises to be bigger and better than ever! 

 

As well as a great selection of stalls to start your Christmas shopping, including Bonbi Forest, Rob Ryan and Tatty Devine, see full vendor list here; there's also plenty of opportunities to have a go making lots of goodies, and also indulge in tea and cake to keep your energy levels up.

There's always a great atmosphere at Craftacular as the DJ's get some good tunes spinning, it's a veritable day out!
