I've been working on a simple, bold, effective range of greeting cards, using hand-cut paper shapes, and one of my beloved typewriter fonts for the reversed-out messages.
Introducing the new 'shape' mini collection!
As you can see, I've gone 'square' for this range, using the same bright white stock as some of my other greeting cards. They all come with square kraft brown ribbed envelopes to add a bit of texture.
The designs include a modern floral for Mothers Day , a good luck clover leaf, a happy birthday balloon, and a starburst congratulations card.
I've loved putting together this fresh palette of colours, using some of my existing shades: deco green, aqua and midnight ink, and blending some new ones: sherbet lemon, pepper red, rose pink and soft lilac. The latter two are inspired by the Pantone colours of the year 2016: rose quartz and serenity.

I've been designed a couple of new products, one of which is the new hankies here: TRUE LOVE handkerchiefs for your Valentine, or wedding, or wall!
Created using the trusty old IBM typewriter, this grid design spells out TRUE on one hankie and LOVE on the other. Produced as a complimentary pair, available in lilac and sherbet lemon, as well as rose pink and charcoal.
New colours have been inspired by the Pantone colours of the year: rose quartz and serenity. So a fresh contemporary feel for Spring.
As well as the double pack, you can also buy LOVE on its own, in pepper red, which makes a great alternative, or addition to a Valentine card. Awww.

I am 'doing' one Christmas Fair this season, and this is it!
I'll be setting up the Mr.PS stall at the Whitworth, Museum of the Year 2015, on Saturday 5 December. The event (and the gallery) is open from 10am - 5pm.
There's sure to be lots of lovely handmade gifts to choose from as the designer-maker sellers have been chosen from applications across the North West of England, by the Whitworth curators, and the team behind the Manchester Craft Mafia.
